We have put together an interesting and varied 2 day programme of excursions, inclusive of lunch and transport for persons accompanying the congress delegates.

The Apartheid Museum tells a story of the triumph of the human of the human spirit over adversity and oppression. The museum has been conceptualized by a multi-disciplinary team of curators, film-makers, historians and designers.

The Cradle of Humankind is one of eight World Heritage Sites in South Africa. Here, the landscape is dotted with subterranean limestone caves that have turned up a rich fossil record for human evolutionary studies, which lend credence to the 'Out of Africa' theory of where our ancestors came from.

Vilakazi Street is the most famous street in Soweto and is the only street in the world to have had two nobel prize winners as its residents. Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu lived in Vilakazi Street. Nelson Mandela’s house has become a museum and the Tutu’s house is still used as a normal home by the Tutu family.

Only a short drive from Johannesburg and Pretoria situated in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site, is the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve. With over 600 head of game, this is the perfect setting for admiring nature on your doorstep. More than thirty species of game, including three of the big five, can be viewed from open vehicles in the presence of an experienced SATOUR-registered guide. These include Kruger Lion, White Rhino and Buffalo. Endangered species, such as wild dog have been reintroduced into the area. Cheetah, hippo, crocodile and more than 20 species of antelope are also part of this experience. From a vulture hide, the visitor has the opportunity to view and photograph the rare Cape Vulture. Proof that leopard occasionally traverse the area has also been found.
